As Always, Samsung regularly updates its devices based on different types of new features and revealed new technologies to Samsung users. Samsung is going to add a new smartphone which is Samsung Galaxy A51, reportedly. As the latest report, Samsung is currently working on the smartphone Samsung Galaxy A51 which will introduce “5G” support. The phone's specifications are not known as of today, but Samsung Galaxy A51 5 G could carry a different SoC since it only facilitates 4G compatibility with the Galaxy A51 standards and lacs the 5 G modem.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is reported to carry the model number SM-A516N and pack 128 GB internal storage according to a new report from SamMobile. The SM-A515F model number is the standard Galaxy A51. Specifications are supported also by the fact that the Galaxy Note 10+ has the international model number SM-N975F, but the South Korean model number SM-N976N is provided with a Galaxy Note 10+ 5G. It is stated that the 5 G version of the Galaxy A51 goes to South Korea, but it is not possible to mention its availability outside of the home market of Samsung. It is stated that the 5 G version of the Galaxy A51 goes to South Korea, but it is not possible to mention its availability outside of the home market of Samsung. Samsung may have to modify the internal hardware of the Galaxy A51 to add 5G support and the chipset specifically.
The Exynos 9611 SoC is powered by the LTE version of the Galaxy A51 which does not support 5G. This leaves two options for Samsung. The first is to connect the Exynos 5100 5G modem inside the Galaxy A51 to the Exynos 9611 SoC. Or equip it with a new 5G SoC that can contain a stand-alone Exynos 980 SoC solution or an external solution, such as the MediaTek Dimensity lineup or the Qualcomm 76x series SoCs that come with an integrated 5G modem. There is, however, no word as far as the launch of the Galaxy A51 or the cost.
